Last week I left for BC to come visit my lovely friend of over 13 years Cameo, and her little family in Kelowna…. Well since then; Roger’s Pass has not been open for long enough for me to make it home. Hoping I can make it back before the weekend. I have a couple spots left in Airdrie tomorrow Friday the 19th in the evening. A couple spots in Calgary this Saturday (20th) in the afternoon, and I have a couple spots open next Monday (the 22nd) and Tuesday (the 23rd) in Airdrie
Such a busy, crazy, joyful, and depressing end to a year. It’s been a crazy few weeks, everyone is busy getting all the last minute stuff done before the holidays…. It’s been a whirlwind! Such awesome classes!!!! I’m stoked to start up some more classes in the new year. Shoot me a message if you’re interested.
Definitely been dealing with some winter blues myself. December is a hard month for me. Lots of loss, and sometimes it’s REALLY hard to find joy.
If this feels like you too, you’re NOT alone. I want to make an event for a bunch of people that just need to get out of the house, meet some people (all my clients are super epic) lol. In the new year, I’m hoping to put together a potluck for anyone and everyone to come and participate. Welcome in the new year with some smiles and good food from all sorts of families. Let me know if this is something that would interest you 🥰 food has always been a big part of me building connections with people. There’s some classes starting this Saturday November 22 at the Inspire Public Library, Multi-purpose room F on how to up-keep haircuts at home in between professional cuts.

You will learn tips, tricks, and what tools you will need. The class fee is $50 per person and walk-ins are welcome if you don’t get around to signing up before hand.

I don’t know about any of you, but the winter blues has definitely hit me.
dealing with winter depression is definitely something that is not unfamiliar to me. I struggle with it every year, especially with having ADHD along with that I struggle with keeping track of things. Especially in this time of season that is extremely busy.
Trying to take the time to enjoy my family rather than being focussed every day on all the cleaning I need to do. Knowing that most days, I wish I could just lie in bed all day. Having kids definitely makes it where I’m forced to get out of bed. Being able to have my own business where I can build my hours around my family has been such a blessing, but it’s also extremely hard when I hit these low times and struggle to get anything done, even as small as replying to some messages to get people booked in.
is something that is all too true in my life. Please continue to have patience with people during this time of year. You have no idea what people are going through. The struggle of losing family and friends, the struggle of the anniversary of losing people. Financial struggle in this economy. A struggle with mental health and special needs within families that don’t have the tools to deal with it.
Don’t forget that this season was originally made for giving and family. Don’t let the commercialized season make you forget that.

I will also be teaching haircutting classes at the new inspire Airdrie public library this Saturday, November 22 and next Saturday, November 29. Please text me for more details. Each class is $50.
First class will talk about the tools you need, how to clean them, products you can make at home, how to use certain products. And the kinds of haircuts I can help you learn in the next class. If I have enough people attending the first class, the second class will involve the individuals bringing a person to the class that they would like to do a tidy up on their haircut
