A QUINTUPLE of joyous makers spending a perfect day at WOODLAND to show off their spoon making skills. I'm not sure if the banter or the creative outcomes were the highlight 🤭. Either way, thanks to everyone for an awesome workshop at Woodland and, enjoy your spoons! 👏

IT'S NOT OFTEN but when we get a beaut day here, it's worth moving into the carpark to work 🥳. With the legs reset and all joinery rebuilt, it's time to strip this gorgeous 1890s table for a long awaited refurb 👏.

GENERALLY I'm not a fan of rush jobs though at times, I understand, when you gotta go you gotta go 🤔. Working through the weekend helped and so did having Ralf onsite for a day's hard Yakka 🤭 Ultimately, you make it so it's worthwhile to you and the customer and at the successful conclusion, everyone's happy 😁

ERIC HOLLENBACH Blue Ox | Millworks says speed follows quality. As a specialist in hand tool woodworking I have to agree. Of course I could have saved a few minutes using a spindle moulder and a tenoner, but sticking the mouldings and cutting the joinery by hand meant I was able to dial it in without trial or test pieces 👏. AND, the finished repair is in keeping with the hundred year old sash, aesthetically pleasing, solid for another 50 plus years, damn satisfying! 🙌
