No rivalry here, just a couple of winners! We're stoked to host director Isaac Elliot and producer/cinematographer Noel Smyth for a Q&A screening of their MIFF Audience Award winning documentary HARD AS PUCK later this year.

It’s Rats in the Ranks meets Cool Runnings with a little more swearing and a lot more bruises. HARD AS PUCK follows a struggling para ice hockey club in Western Australia. With no money, no sponsors, and barely enough players, they rely on grants to get by, but when the enigmatic founder (and chief grant procurer) prepares to step away, the club is thrown into turmoil...

Only on Saturday 7 November, 3pm. Tickets are on sale now.

A marker of film excellence.

Richard Kelly's beloved and reviled SOUTHLAND TALES (2006) stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Seann William Scott, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Justin Timberlake in a dizzying maximalist dreamscape of a dystopian LA.

Undeniably ambitious, exhilarating, and ripe for reevaluation in 2026, SOUTHLAND TALES screens on Friday 28 and Monday 31 August as part of our Cult Classics series.
