🤖🚀 Robotics on the Move! 💡✨

The Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre took our Robotics Outreach Programme to Limekhaya High School, Phindubuye Primary School and Nkululeko High School! 🏫🤖

Learners had the opportunity to explore the exciting world of Robotics, Technology and Innovation through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities. ⚙️🔧

From discovering how robots work to developing problem-solving, creativity and critical-thinking skills, the sessions inspired learners to imagine themselves as the innovators and engineers of tomorrow. 🌟🧠

We are proud to bring STEM learning beyond the classroom and create opportunities for learners to learn, explore and innovate! 🚀

🔬⚡ LEARNING SCIENCE THROUGH PRACTICALS! 🧪🚗

We had the pleasure of welcoming Wesbram Community School to the Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre for an exciting day of hands-on science practicals! 🎉🔍

🧑‍🔬 Grade 7 explored:
🚗 Cars & Ramps – investigating how ramps affect the movement of a car.
💧 Insulators Investigation – testing which material works best to keep water warm.

⚡ Grade 8 investigated:
🔌 Electrical Circuits – building and exploring working circuits.
🔩 Metals & Non-Metals – investigating their different properties.

💡 Grade 9 focused on:
🔋 Electrical Circuits – building and investigating circuits through practical activities.

It was a fantastic opportunity for learners to learn by doing, ask questions, investigate and discover!🌟

⚡🔬 Bringing Classroom Science to Life!🧪✨

Today, we took our outreach programme to Limekhaya High School, where Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners got the opportunity to learn through practical experimentation. 🎓📚

💨 Grade 11: Learners explored Boyle’s Law and investigated how pressure and volume are related.

🔋 Grade 12: Learners tackled Internal Resistance of a Battery, putting their electrical theory and practical skills to the test.

It was a productive day of experimentation, observation and discovery, helping learners build confidence in their practical Physics skills. 💡📊

The learners enjoyed an exciting Science Show filled with fascinating demonstrations, fun experiments and plenty of scientific discovery. 🧪⚡

They also had the opportunity to explore our interactive exhibitions, getting hands-on with science and discovering something new around every corner! 🔍🌟

🔋⚡ Putting Physics into Practice at Cingani Secondary High School! 🔬✨

The Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre visited Cingani Secondary High School for an engaging Grade 12 Internal Resistance of a Battery practical. 🎓📚

Learners had the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge through hands-on experimentation, investigating how internal resistance affects the performance of a battery. 🔋📊

From taking measurements to analyzing their results, the practical encouraged learners to develop their scientific investigation, problem-solving and practical skills. 🔍🧠
