Imperial Youth Ballet Company As a non profit organization the IYBC will strive to develop dancers and give children from all backgrounds the opportunity to perform on stage.

The Imperial Youth Ballet is a dance company in South Africa associated with the Russian Imperial Ballet with the purpose of developing young dancers and giving the the opportunity to perform on stage with touring Russian Ballet companies. The idea to form a youth ballet company to support visiting Russian ballet companies and to promote dance as a performing art amongst the youth grew from the as

sociation with the Imperial Russian Ballet Company and during November 2012 the Imperial Youth Ballet Company (IYBC) will open its doors in South Africa. An annual youth production will afford all the members of the IYBC the chance to perform in a full length production whilst many cast members will also perform with visiting ballet companies.
