We are 2 weeks away from the first Stonington Sunset Movie! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to Wadawanuck Square outside The Stonington Free Library in the Borough for a free showing of Disney's Moana! Movies start at 8:30 pm 🎥🎞

Sadly, we will not be running movies in Misquamicut this year. The attendance has dwindled in the last few years despite consistent marketing. We had less than 25 attendees last year at each movie. There is a lot more "competition" now with free concerts in Watch Hill, neighboring towns providing music, the terrific Misquamicut Drive In, etc. The poor attendance, coupled with the cost of movie licensing, event permits, and staff time to set up, monitor, and break down led to the difficult decision by the Chamber board. The Movies on the Beach in Misquamicut had a great run and we enjoyed meeting all of the wonderful families over the years!

If you are still looking for an opportunity to watch free movies, we are still providing free movies in Stonington twice this summer. Please see the schedule below!
