Halloween Ends (2022) was the biggest disappointment of the year. It felt like the writers didn’t know where to go with the finale film and just threw something together. There isn’t much to say without spoiling the film. It just felt like a huge disservice to the franchise. Elvis (2022) was phenomenal. A movie that not only did the performer, but the man himself justice. A beautifully acted film with timeless music. There were scenes that could have been cut to tidy up the pacing but besides that, the film is near flawless. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (2022) was such a great surprise! Sam Raimi shows why he is a phenomenal director. This movie doesn’t feel like a Marvel film. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) was a total disappointment. I’ve never seen such a terrible plot and script in my life. I also didn’t care for how they completely copied the Halloween 2018 plot line of having an old character coming back. Even though the kills were brutal and Leatherface was scary as ever, it still doesn’t save the film from being a Netflix Nightmare. 4/10🎬 For more reviews, checkout my website. If you’re looking for a movie to watch to have a good laugh, this is the film for you. Scream (2022) was a massive disappointment. Horrible performances and a terrible killer reveal lead me to wanting more. Aside from the usual Ghostface shenanigans, I was left very disappointed.
