Abilities LLC Abilities LLC provides residential habilitation to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Abilities LLC manages individual supported living (ISL) homes, and provides 24-hour staff to these individuals so they are safe and supported in all aspects of their lives - cooking, cleaning, hygiene needs, community access, school, work, and the fun stuff like movies, sporting events, and going to restaurants!

Every year a teammate chooses to stay with Abilities is a year they've chosen the people we serve. That choice matters. It shapes lives, builds trust, and creates the kind of consistency our individuals deserve.

Over the past two weeks, four teammates celebrated work anniversaries with Abilities:

We are currently selling commemorative bricks for the future Sensory Garden at Hawthorne Park. Each brick purchased helps support the creation of an inclusive space where individuals of all abilities can explore, play, relax, and connect with the community.

It's true! In Missouri, you have the legal right to audio record your child's IEP or 504 meeting under RSMo 162.686.

How?
Send a short written notice to your school's Process Coordinator at least 24 hours before the meeting letting the school know you'll be recording (email is fine), then bring your phone and hit record when the meeting starts.

We recommend the phone app Minutes, which records the audio and gives you an instant transcript, meeting summary, or action plan when it's done.

Meet Caleb Buntin, our Community LPN!

Caleb has been with Abilities for four years and is the primary educator in our nursing department. He teaches CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, nursing tasks and delegations, feeding tubes, oxygen use, and just about every clinical skill our staff needs to support the individuals we serve safely.

Caleb is knowledgeable, personable, and easy to approach. Our employees love learning from him, and it shows in the quality of care our teams provide!

Meet Kelsi McCoy, our Office Manager! Kelsi has been with Abilities for five years and is the first face our visitors see when they walk through the door. She does a little bit of everything - scanning, printing, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting guests, and keeping our office running smoothly day in and day out.

Happy 9-Year Work Anniversary, Meghan!

For nearly a decade, Meghan has been a huge part of what keeps Abilities running day after day. As our Payroll Administrator, she brings dedication, problem-solving, and reliability into everything she does—and she does it all with a level of care that’s rare to find.

She’s incredibly helpful, solution-focused, driven, and deeply committed to both this team and this organization. When there’s a problem to solve or a challenge to work through, Meghan is someone people can count on.

On a personal note, I’m also incredibly lucky to call her my best friend. Watching the amount of heart she pours into her work over the years has been something special.
