✨ OUR turn to share some memories! ✨

One of the things we always looked forward to was decking out the lobby for the holidays. There’s just something about the sparkle of Christmas lights, the smell of popcorn, and the buzz of families coming in for a holiday movie night that made Beach Cinema feel extra special.

From the giant tree (and giant teddy!) to the little touches all around, we loved creating that festive atmosphere for you — and seeing your smiles made it all worth it. 🎄🍿💙

We hope many of you were able to come spend the holidays with us over the years and make some memories! Special shout out to all of our amazing team members who went all out decorating the lobby (most of these pics are from a Red One event we did last year!) and also to some of the amazing community partners who helped deck the lobby with us over the years!!

After 8 unforgettable years of laughter, stories, and shared moments, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Beach Cinema Alehouse. Our final day of operation will be August 31, 2025.

This theater has been more than a place to watch movies — it’s been a gathering place for friends, families, and neighbors to connect, celebrate, and escape into other worlds together. We are endlessly grateful to the Virginia Beach community for allowing us to be a part of your lives.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing some of our favorite memories from the past 8 years, and we'd love to hear some of yours as well!

Thanks for everything, VB -- we're going to miss you all.
