No warrior in the Seven Kingdoms dared to challenge the Archer of the Dawn.
They whispered that he never missed a target. They claimed his arrows could split mountains, silence storms, and pierce the darkness itself. But no one knew the truth behind the legend—or the heartbreaking promise that forced him to keep fighting.
His name was Orion, the last guardian chosen by the ancient gods.
From the moment he was born, a glowing mark shaped like a golden bow burned upon his right hand. The elders feared him. The priests worshipped him. The gods watched him from the heavens, waiting for the day he would either save the world... or destroy it.
At the age of sixteen, Orion climbed the forbidden peak known as Heaven's Edge, where no mortal had ever returned alive. There, beneath an endless sky filled with shimmering stars, the Goddess of Light appeared before him.
Without speaking a word, she handed him the Celestial Bow.
Its string was woven from moonlight.
Its frame was carved from the first tree that ever existed.
Its arrows could never run out, for each one was forged from pure divine energy.
"There will come a day," the goddess finally whispered, "when darkness rises not from monsters... but from broken hearts. On that day, only your courage will decide the fate of every living soul."
Then she vanished.
Years passed.
Orion became more than a warrior.
He became hope itself.
Whenever villages were attacked by giant beasts, he arrived before sunrise.
Whenever kingdoms marched to war, his arrows ended battles before the first sword struck.
Children dreamed of becoming him.
Kings begged for his protection.
Even dragons avoided the lands where his shadow could be seen.
Yet every victory came with a terrible cost.
Each divine arrow slowly consumed the life force of its master.
Every battle shortened Orion's lifespan.
Every miracle pushed him one step closer to death.
Still... he never stopped fighting.
Because deep inside, he remembered the goddess's warning.
One evening, the skies suddenly turned crimson.
The stars disappeared.
The moon cracked in half.
Across every kingdom, people fell to their knees as a deafening roar echoed through the heavens.
The ancient prison beneath the world had finally shattered.
From its endless abyss emerged Malgor, the Forgotten God of Chaos.
His armor was forged from living darkness.
His eyes burned like dying suns.
With every step, mountains crumbled into dust.
Entire rivers evaporated beneath his shadow.
The armies of mankind charged with unmatched bravery.
None survived.
The greatest mages combined their magic.
Their spells dissolved before touching him.
Even the mighty dragons that once ruled the skies were struck down within moments.
Hope vanished.
Fear ruled everything.
As cities burned, Orion silently climbed the highest cliff overlooking the battlefield.
He knew there was only one weapon left.
Hidden inside the Celestial Bow was an arrow no human had ever been allowed to use.
The Final Arrow.
An arrow powerful enough to erase a god from existence.
But there was one condition.
The archer who released it would disappear forever.
No body.
No soul.
No memory.
It was as if they had never existed.
His closest companions begged him to stop.
"If you fire it... the world will never even remember your name."
Orion smiled peacefully.
"A hero doesn't fight to be remembered."
He drew the glowing arrow.
The heavens trembled.
The oceans rose.
Every surviving person looked toward the sky as golden light gathered around the lone warrior.
Across the battlefield, Malgor slowly turned... and for the very first time in countless ages...
The God of Chaos looked afraid.
Orion pulled the bowstring to its limit.
The divine light became brighter than the sun itself.
Then, with one final breath, he whispered words that echoed through both heaven and earth...
