Puntos de Vista Festival 2014 El Festival Internacional de Documentales "Puntos de Vista" se inauguró en el 2010 para promover el arte y la cultura de la lengua española.

El Festival Internacional de Documentales "Puntos de Vista" permite a estudiantes de toda Latinoamérica, España y el Caribe expresarse a través de la producción de documentales mostrando sus costumbres y su cultura ante el mundo. El Festival tiene como objetivo: primero, crear una sociedad más diversa y multicultural en los
Estados Unidos mediante la promoción de documentales que retratan la vida

, el consumo, el arte y la cultura de los hispanos en los EE.UU. y en el mundo; segundo, apoyar el proceso creativo de los estudiantes hispanos del mundo en la
realización de documentales; tercero, establecer un foro mediático contemporáneo para que los estudiantes se expresen; y cuarto, promover la enseñanza del idioma español. El evento incluye, además del concurso de documentales estudiantil, un taller para los participantes, una presentación a puertas abiertas de documentales dirigida a la comunidad, y un "encuentro socio-cultural" para celebrar la latinidad entre cineastas internacionales, profesores de FSU y todos las organizaciones de estudiantes hispanos registradas en el campus.

The festival was a success! Thank you to everyone who sponsored, supported, volunteer and came to the festival. We really appreciate it!

If you missed the Closing Ceremony on Friday, here are some Awards you may want to know about:

*Most Original Production: Po Oro Viene, Por Agua se va, Universidad de Bucaramanga, Colombia.
*Best Narrative Award: Sin Rastro, FIU, Miami.
*Best Soundtrack: Por Oro Viene, Por Agua se va, Universidad de Bucaramanga, Colombia.
*Best Cultural Contribution: La Palpa: mas alla de un ritual, Universidad de Lima, Peru.
*Best Social Contribution: Discriminacion Homosexual en el Aula, Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile.
*Best Production: Sin Rastro, FIU, Miami.
