Today is the day!!! It’s been roughly 5 years since we took over the theater and today we finally get our first new Star Wars movie! Growing up, Star Wars was big in my household. My parents read us the books, we had VHS tapes, t-shirts, video games, and I even had a Darth Vader piggy bank! Phantom Menace was my first theater experience with Star Wars and is still a great memory of mine.

I’m excited to show this movie and introduce Star Wars to a future generation of fans. Please join us this opening weekend for The Mandolorian and Grogu!

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is coming to the Sycamore State Theater starting this THURSDAY, May 21! Don’t miss the continuation of this beloved series.

Set several years after the events of Return of the Jedi following the collapse of the Galactic Empire, the story follows the iconic bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young Force-sensitive apprentice, Grogu. The duo is enlisted by the fledgling New Republic to protect what the Rebellion fought for. Their primary mission involves rescuing Rotta the Hutt (voiced by Jeremy Allen White) in exchange for critical intelligence regarding remaining Imperial warlords scattered across the galaxy.
