Just wrap the strap around the bottom of your TV where the ESPN sports score ticker is scrolling to block yourself from seeing those scores you are trying to avoid!
I created this product because there are times two sporting events (games) I want to watch are on at the same time and I don’t want to know the score of the one I’m not watching because I am recording it and plan on watching it after the first game is over.
The problem is channels like ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports Network, NFL Network, MLB Channel, etc. have sports score tickers on the bottom of the screen and I would often accidentally see the score of the game I was trying to avoid while watching my primary game, spoiling the score. It’s a great gift for your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend/dad/uncle sports fan.
This is where the Redneck Sports Score Ticker Blocker™ comes in. Just wrap the strap around the bottom of your TV where the ESPN sports score ticker is scrolling to block yourself from seeing those scores you are trying to avoid! No more spoilers! I’ve seen some people try this with a low-quality elastic band that you can see through when it’s stretched. This isn’t the case with my band. You can’t see through it.
I have tested this on TVs that measure up to 75 inches. Most TVs are measured in diagonal length, which comes from measuring from the upper left-hand corner of the actual TV screen to the lower right-hand corner, so make sure you measure the horizontal width from side to side. This is truly a Cajun redneck creation. I don’t get them shipped in from China. I purchase the components and put it together in my garage in Louisiana. It’s not fancy or polished but it works and doesn’t fall apart. I’ve been using the same one for about 4 years now.
