ABEL FERRARA INVITES YOU TO SEE MS 45 LIVE!

Ferrara’s 1981 cult classic, a gripping revenge thriller, comes to life in a whole new way at the Playhouse on Thursday, October 22 at 7PM. David Bowie considered the MS 45 score one of his favorite movie soundtracks. Join us to see why as composer Joe Delia Music performs music live alongside the screening and will participate in a Q&A with other musicians who worked on the movie. We hope to see you there!

Great news, Southampton!! The Playhouse is teaming up with the Southampton Chamber of Commerce and Southampton Village Partnership for our annual Halloween Ragamuffin Parade!

Families can join the parade route all morning long from 9:30am-12pm, and we invite you to visit all our local businesses and neighbors, before we end at the Playhouse for a costume contest at noon! A few lucky winners from the contest will get to walk home with a great selection of local prizes from the community!

PLUS, we'll be screening a selection of special all-ages Halloween short films at 12:30pm inside the Playhouse! Don't miss out on this special event - get your parade route maps at the Playhouse or at the Chamber today.

The Playhouse community is heartbroken by the news that BREAKING BAD actor RJ Mitte passed away this week at the age of 34. We were honored to welcome RJ to the Playhouse earlier this year for a special screening of director Christian Nilsson’s new film WESTHAMPTON, in which he played a supporting role, as part of the ReelAbilities New York 🎥 Film Festival. He was a kind, charming, and inspiring presence who spent the evening meeting our audiences and sharing lovely stories about his early successes. Our condolences go out to his many friends and family. Thank you, RJ, for sharing your story with us.
