The most empowering thing I ever learned was this:
Nobody is coming to save me.
Not because people don’t care. Not because support doesn’t matter.
But because no one can regulate my nervous system for me.
No one can heal my attachment wounds for me.
No one can build resilience for me.
Healing isn’t about pretending your trauma didn’t happen. It’s about taking ownership of what happens next.
Your trauma isn’t your fault.
Your healing is your responsibility.
What’s one thing you’ve done recently to support your own healing?
