The Sheep Detectives is coming to the Roxy! 🐑🔍

Just as lambing season is finally coming to an end for many of our local producers, we’re bringing in a movie that might make you look at your sheep a little differently.

The Sheep Detectives follows George Hardy, a kindhearted shepherd played by Hugh Jackman, who spends his evenings reading murder mysteries aloud to his flock. What he doesn’t know is that his sheep understand every word — and they have plenty of opinions about “whodunnit.”

When George is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the flock decides it’s time to leave the meadow and solve the case themselves. The only problem? The human world is a whole lot more complicated than the detective books made it sound.

This one is a clever, cozy, family-friendly mystery with humor, heart, and just enough sheep nonsense to make it a fun night at the movies.
