Being the only Video disc/movie rental business in Scammon Bay, we have learned a few tricks in making sure we will have as many movies in good condition available for customers to watch. We have great customers, ok customers and customers that are not so great. Here are a few rules to follow that will ensure you will be able to continue to rent movies:

1. Provide a working telephone #: we need this number to be able to get a hold of you.

2. Take good care of the movies you rent: ruining them by scratching, etc, especially if they're fairly new, will mean that you will need to pay for the cost of the movie AND if this is a second offense, it will mean that you will lose the privilege to rent movies.

3. Return movies when they are due: others want to watch them, too and when you don't return on the day they are due, you will need to pay $4 for each movie that was not returned. If you don't pay this fee, you will not be able to rent again until it is paid. If this happens more than twice, you and your whole household will lose movie renting privileges.

4. Don't "lend" your movies out to another household or give to others to return. We've lost movies this way or have them ruined by the other party. You are responsible for them and you will lose the privilege, if necessary.

5. If you will not be here to return a movie in person when it is due, have someone you trust return them for you. It's your privilege, protect it.

There are folks who have already lost renting privileges. Some were given chances and broke them again and again and are now on a permanent no-rent list. Their own doing.

We also have excellent customers and we thank them, and try to make new movies available for their enjoyment. Quyana.
