The drive-in theatre was built in 1949 and opened on May 5, 1950. The TeePee Drive-In Movie Theater is a great family experience, with even the option to lodge in one of the renovated Spartan Campers. Food truck offerings along with the traditional movie fares will make a late-night movie an excellent experience. Best of all, dogs are allowed leashed on-site.

Join us this Centennial Sunday, July 19, for a magical evening featuring Disney's Moana and a special partnership with the Tulsa Astronomy Club!

After the movie, look beyond the horizon and into the universe as members of the Tulsa Astronomy Club set up telescopes for guests to explore the wonders of the night sky. It's a rare opportunity to see planets, stars, and celestial objects up close after sailing away with Moana on her unforgettable adventure.

Last Sunday's showing of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers became one for the history books as we had the honor of hosting not one... but TWO weddings at the historic Teepee Drive-In!

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Jordan Ascencio, our wedding officiant extraordinaire, whose warmth and enthusiasm made each ceremony unforgettable, and to the MakeSense Foundation for helping make this unique Centennial Sunday celebration possible. Tonight at the Teepee Drive In, the screen glows, the summer night rolls in, and the crowd gets a little more… mischievous.

Wednesday, July 15 is $10 Carload Night—so load up the car, gather your minions (or monsters), and head out for a full night of Route 66 summer fun under the stars.

Gates open at 7:10 PM and the movie begins at 9:10 PM. Come early and make a night of it—grab a basket of Minion Munch, sip on a cold cocktail, let the kids take over the playground, or challenge each other on the lawn games before the show starts.

Luckily, our Minion-in-Training has agreed to let our human staff handle admissions for Saturday night's showing of Minions & Monsters at the Teepee Drive-In.

Bring the whole family and enjoy an evening packed with laughs, adventure, dinner, treats, playground fun, lawn games, and a movie under the stars on Historic Route 66.

On Centennial Sunday, July 12, the Teepee Drive-In is giving seven lucky couples the chance to get married or renew their vows before our showing of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers!

Imagine exchanging vows beneath the Oklahoma sky, in front of one of Route 66's most iconic landmarks, then celebrating with a classic movie under the stars. ❤️

Here's how to enter for one of the seven ceremony spots:

💍 Your name (and your partner's name)
💍 Whether you'd like to get married or renew your vows
💍 A brief note about why you'd like to be one of our Route 66 couples

Selected couples will receive a FREE 15-minute ceremony at the Teepee Drive-In, officiated on-site during the event.

⚠️ Couples getting legally married must provide a valid Oklahoma marriage license.

🥂 Champagne toasts will be available for purchase from our cocktail trailer for those looking to celebrate the occasion.
