Big news to share: I’ve been named a finalist for San Diego Magazine’s Celebrating Women 2026, Rising Star in Media & Marketing 🥂

Celebrating Women is San Diego Magazine’s annual program honoring local women making an impact across business, media, wellness, and more, and being named a finalist in the Rising Star category is such an honor.

This one means a lot. Ten years of building this little corner of the internet, one Reel and one blog post at a time, and it still feels surreal to be recognized alongside so many incredible women doing amazing things in this city.

Skip Capri. Go to Ponza instead ⛵️🇮🇹

Everyone flocks to Capri, but this tiny island 3 hours from Rome is where Italians actually go to escape.

PONZA 2-NIGHT ITINERARY - save this for your next long weekend:
🚢 HOW TO GET THERE
Ferries run from Anzio (1h 15min, closest to Rome), Formia (1h 30min), or Naples (2h 45min).

Book ahead in July/August. Total travel time from Rome: ∼3 hours.

🍝 WHERE TO EAT
• Oresteria: Seafood + sunset terrace.
