✨ 9:30 AM: Arrive at Volcan Valley Apple Farm for apple picking (before the crowds!) - season starts Sept 6.
✨ 11:00 AM: Treat yourself to warm apple pie à la mode at Julian Pie Company
✨ 12:00 PM: Wander through town - don’t miss Julian Book House & The Warm Hearth for cozy finds
✨ 1:00 PM: Stop at Julian Farm & Orchard for pumpkins + fresh-cut flowers before heading home

The prettiest pumpkin patch just an hour from Boston 🍂🎃

Tougas Family Farm, LLC is straight out of a New England fall postcard (think rows of bright orange pumpkins, apple orchards, and fresh c***r donuts that are worth the drive alone).

✨ Tips for Visiting:
⏰Hours: Open daily 9am–5pm
🗓️Best time to go: Weekday mornings = fewer crowds, golden light, and plenty of photo ops
💡Pro tip: Stop by the farm store before you leave for their baked goods

I can’t believe I’m typing this... Palm Trees & Pellegrino is 10. 🤍

Ten years ago I started this little corner of the internet when it was such a different world. Back when it was all blogs, and logging onto Instagram to post one static, probably way too filtered photo a few times a week. No stories. No reels. No videos. Just... sharing because you loved it.

The landscape has changed so much since then, and honestly so have I, but what hasn’t changed is how grateful I am for this community. For everyone who has been here since the blog days, and everyone who found P&P along the way.

Thank you for letting me share my little slice of San Diego, travels, life, and everything in between for a decade. I can’t believe how long it’s been and at the same time, I feel like we’re just getting started.

Here’s to 10 years & whatever comes next. I love you guys. 🥂

Completing my second year in Las Patronas and what an evening to remember 🥹 Cheers to 80 years (and 80 years with our partner La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club ) as we usher in a new era and begin to prep for a whole new year of supporting the San Diego community.

It’s been such an honor to serve as the Communications Chair on the board this year. Not to be cliche but yes time flies when you’re having fun, and especially with lifelong friends (between a crazy “work week” prepping for the ball, and dancing the night away, and of course cleaning up on the “night shift” 😉)
