Jamie and the team run one hell of a dive bar in Olmos Park with great vibes, strong drinks, and an atmosphere that keeps you hanging around for “just one more.”

A lot of tenants ask this question—especially when that renewal notice hits. Let’s break it down REAL quick 👇

💸 Why rent goes up:
✔️ Property taxes increase
✔️ Insurance costs rise
✔️ Maintenance & repairs get more expensive
✔️ Market rents go up in the area
So in many cases… it’s not just landlords being greedy—it’s the cost of owning the home going up too.

⚖️ But is it fair?

👉 It depends.

A GOOD landlord doesn’t just raise rent just because they can.
They look at:
✔️ The current market
✔️ The quality of the tenant
✔️ How big the increase is
