"Kicking off the Friday Shorts Block, Vlad Klimchuck’s One More Opening Sequence shows us what happens when would-be mugger Christopher Phi clashes with Toy Lei in the middle of walking her dog and hustling back to her episode of Jeopardy. Lei assembles the action here and puts on a fun little gem with Phi, along with the ever-talented Wilfred for one of of the most entertaining spots in this year’s Haymaker line-up."

The festival kicks off on September 25!

For June, we will be presenting a direct-to-video deep cut, an ultra-rare public screening of 1998's RECOIL, starring Gary Daniels.

RECOIL has all the trademarks of 90s action maestros PM Entertainment: a near-constant barrage of explosive action, loads of B-movie cheese, and some of the wildest practical vehicle stunts ever committed to film. From Woo-inspired akimbo shootouts, to fistfights on the roof of a speeding limo, RECOIL is sure to deliver for thrill-seekers looking to get their fix.

A special presentation you won't find anywhere else in the Salt Lake Valley, RECOIL also serves as a soft primer for an upcoming (and as-yet-unannounced) Special Screening included as part of this year's Haymaker Film Festival.

We hope to see friends

June 24, at
SHOWTIME AT 8PM!

*A note on All Ages: while The Beehive is an all ages venue, RECOIL is definitely hard R-rated. Use your best judgement to determine if the content is appropriate for you.
