Job Description

Are you a movie enthusiast with leadership potential looking for a rewarding part-time management role? The Salem Twin Cinema is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible Assistant Manager to join our team for 20–30 hours a week. We value our team and work hard to provide a consistent, structured schedule that respects the other obligations in your life.

As an Assistant Manager, you will get to do it all—from serving up the perfect popcorn to leading a small team and ensuring the theater runs smoothly. No prior management experience is required; we are completely willing to train the right person from the ground up!

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations: Run shifts, supervise 1 to 2 employees per shift, and aid the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
Customer & Cash Management: Handle customer issues with a smile and accurately count cash drawers.
Theater Magic: Run the projectors and ensure the films start seamlessly.
Team Player Duties: Work the floor by selling concessions/tickets, restocking, aiding with inventory, and keeping our common areas (lobby, bathrooms, and theaters) sparkling clean.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Availability on Thursday through Sunday is required (we are only open Thursday through Sunday each week).
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Reliable transportation / ability to commute to Salem, OH 44460.
Driver’s License (Preferred).
