Saginaw, Michigan โ Jordan Dice, a technologist and serial entrepreneur, is acquiring the Court Street Theater in Saginaw, adding it to his Tri-City operations including the State Theatre of Bay City, Midland Mall, and St. Laurent Brothers.
Dice speaks on the success and plans of his theaters and events, โEvents have been a big focus lately. Weโve successfully held 26 events at the State Theatre since reopening last fall, another 30 are on the calendar, and weโre having monthly events at the mall now too. Iโm pleased with the outcomeโ, says Dice.
State Theatre reopened last fall with a St. Laurent Brothers concession stand that stocks over 50 of the most popular items from its store. Dice plans to do the same at Court Street Theater and is in the process of opening a full bar at his venues pending liquor licensing. โI believe a bar that serves drinks along with our homemade quality snacks from St. Laurent Brothers will drive event attendance and provide our guests with a more enjoyable experienceโ, says Dice.
Dice attributes much of his recent success to the overwhelming community support and he plans to reopen Court Street Theater later in the year.

At the age of 13, Dice dropped out of the 7th grade, enrolled in college, and started his career at his family business, DICE Corporation. The following year, Dice started his first business, StarNet Wireless, a local internet service provider in Bay City, Michigan that quickly grew to over 1,200 subscribers and earned its first million in sales within the first few years. Dice is a graduate of Delta College and received degrees in computer science and accounting, before obtaining his high school equivalency certificate. Dice holds various professional licenses as a real estate broker, building contractor, title agent, and insurance professional. Dice is also the President & CEO of IPtelX, a company he co-founded, as a leading telecom provider to the alarm and security industry. Most recently, Dice has acquired and revitalized the Midland Mall, St. Laurent Brothers, and the State Theatre of Bay City.
