In Adrien Mérigeau's gorgeous painterly style GENIUS LOCI, a young loner sees among the urban chaos a moving oneness that seems alive, like some sort of guide. Academy Award® Nominee - Best Animated Short Film, GENIUS LOCI is Mérigeau's second short film following OLD FANG (2010). Mérigeau also worked as Background Supervisor on the Oscar-nominated feature film THE SECRET OF KELLS by Tomm Moore (2009), and as Art Director on Cartoon Saloon’s second Oscar-nominated film SONG OF THE SEA by Tomm Moore (2014).
