Rock Valley College Film Society

Rock Valley College Film Society The RVC Film Society invites all students to gather view, critically appreciate, and discuss film, documentary, and other types of video production.

The Rock Valley College Film Society founded in the Fall of 2011 from a group of passionate and dedicated mass communication students to encourage the appreciation and creation of movies, documentaries, music videos, and other types of video media. It is the Society's intention to bring together all RVC students to share in the love of film and to explore the creative filmmaking process with the h

elp and support of the RVC mass communication department. The Society meets bi-weekly with film screening nights once per month, with the screening theme selected by a new member each week. During regular meetings members are encouraged to discuss films and the filmmaking process, brainstorm production ideas and select crew for their work, and help current mass communication students with their needs.
