🎬 Five Points Short Film Festival is back

Year three hits late summer, and submissions are officially open!

Last year set the tone:
🏆 Two $1,000 prizes with support from The Crunkleton
🎥 Films that seriously leveled up
⭐ Celebrity judges who showed up and leaned in
🎟️ A red carpet night that felt like a real moment for this community and the filmmakers in it

That energy carries into this year!

Five Points is about giving filmmakers a platform, a crowd, and a reason to push the work further. Competitive, collaborative, and built by the community around it

It’s been 30 days since the credits rolled on our 2nd Annual Five Points Short FilmFest, and the love is still rolling in. 💥

We’re so proud of this year’s lineup—bold, emotional, hilarious, and deeply human. Congrats to our Golden Reel Winners and the $1k prize!

🏆 Day 1 Winner: A Bigger Table: Latecia’s Story — a heartfelt narrative that brought the audience to their feet.

🎬 That’s a wrap! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the inaugural Five Points Short FilmFest! We’re thrilled to announce our audience-voted winners: *Maintenance* and *Oak City* tied for Day 1, and *All of This!!!* took the top spot on Day 2. Congratulations to these incredible filmmakers and all who participated—your talent made this festival unforgettable!

A special shoutout to .rialto for allowing us to bring this idea to the heart of Raleigh and for being a fantastic host to our community and the event. We can’t wait to see you all again next year! 🎉
