Hello friends and neighbors, the Pine Hill Drive-In will be closed July 10th and 11th. We are having to do some serious consideration on whether we will stay open weekly or do something else. We may start opening up every other weekend for this season. With the low turnout and the cost to open for a weekend and pay the advances on the movies it is hard to keep it open. We understand that it is hard for people to budget a night out. We will not close it for good as long as the people want it to stay here.

With that said, we really do need your support in keeping this historic landmark alive for years to come. We try to play new movies that come out whenever we can. The upfront cost to some of these movies are high and we don’t make a lot off of them. Not only do we pay the fee to get the movie we also have to pay a percentage of the ticket sales as well. Most of the revenue would come from the snack bar. We are open to suggestions on what to play on the weekends, events through the week, etc.

I remember going to the drive-in when I was in school and even after I graduated and the place was usually packed. We really need to get back to that again! -Will

Hopefully, the movie industry will start producing better movies for us to play.

Lets keep the Drive-In alive!
