Very important news to announce!!

Going forward, there should be a significant improvement noticed in the quality of popcorn that we are putting out.

On our Popper, there is a specific part that is supposed to be blowing hot air to ensure warmth and freshness. This part has been out. Had it not been for another Theater owner bringing this to our attention, we genuinely would not have known to make the change. The Employees have said for as long as they can remember, the Popper wasn’t blowing air at all, let alone hot air. (This is not the fault of employees, this is lack of preventative maintenance being done). There is really no telling truly how long this has been going on, but our best guess is anywhere from 3-5 years. It definitely stems from before my Ownership a year ago, but my inexperience in the industry also plays a part in this and shows here as well.

As soon as I found out that we had complaints about it (side note here, we are always striving to do better so if there is something we can fix, please give us the opportunity instead of just going somewhere else) we immediately jumped to getting it fixed. A huge shoutout to friend of the Theater, Greg Morgan, for always being able to double as a Popper Technician at a moment’s notice.

An Important Distinction:

1) This WILL NOT change the flavor of the popcorn that so many people already love

2) What it will ensure, is that everything stays Fresher, Warmer, and you will notice a significant difference and change in texture. I do believe that we didn’t know this was an issue before because all of our loyal customers have gotten accustomed to Popcorn on the stale side. Unfortunately, the only thing that we can do is fix what is broken when we are aware, and be better in the future.
