To our wonderful Panguitch community and Gem Theater family, 🎬❤️
With deep gratitude, we are sharing that The Gem Theater will be partially closing down for the season starting Wednesday 9/23, OPEN SPORADICALLY into early October. Come grab some hand dipped ice cream bars, house-made ice cream (limited flavors), and Gem chocolates before we close! Expect us to be open 6-8pm sometimes....

We want to send a huge thank you to our amazing manager, Elise Sarles, whose hard work kept everything running beautifully. We snagged her for the summer, but now she is back to bettering herself through education in Cedar. We also owe a massive thank you to this incredible community for your unwavering support.

For those wondering about the technical hiccups, the projector will hopefully be fixed soon. Maybe private theater rentals will be possible if this happens – we will keep you posted.

CANCELLATIONS. Due to persistent projector issues, we will no longer be showing first run new movies this season -- Paw Patrol and Acme vs Coyote are cancelled. We will still be available for theater rentals at discounted heavily rates. If you want to watch movies like Young Washington -- with a patient group okay with listening to 60s music for 20+ minutes -- please reach out.

Movies CANCELLED this weekend! It's official - our projector issues have returned. The Odyssey will not show this weekend unless by some miracle we can fix the green and purple dots issue plaguing most of our showings. We apologize for the inconvenience. Yesterdays showing may be the last first run new movie we show - we will continue to show classic public domain movies, such as Monday 6pm Little Lord Fauntleroy.

They're back! Our Gem made Ice Cream bars. Stop by to get one of the world best ice cream bars. Delicious vanilla ice cream dipped in Dark Chocolate and crunchy Quinoa with a gem made caramel layer.

Hello Movie Lovers!

This Thursday August 27 is the last showing of Young Washington at 7pm.

Supergirl starts this Friday August 28. Weekend showings at 1, 4, & 7 pm. Weekday Showings at 7 pm.

The Theater is closed this Saturday for the Quinoa Festival. We hope to see you there!

The Spider-man Brand new day poster is for sale now. We only have one poster left.

The Ice Cream Bars are back! All of them have vanilla ice cream center. The first is dipped in dark chocolate and roasted almond. Next a milk chocolate, caramel, and roasted almond. Finally dark chocolate, Sea salted caramel and crunchy Quinoa.

Gem-made chocolates avalible in serveral delicious flavors.
