Lots of movie choices this week. SARAH'S OIL is based on a true story. Set in 1910 Oklahoma during the oil boom, young Sarah Rector becomes convinced there's oil beneath the surface of the land she inherited.

AND, based on their popularity, we're bringing back SOUL ON FIRE and holding over REGRETTING YOU for a few more showings. For the kiddos, we have STITCH HEAD showing for the matinees on Saturday and Sunday.

TONIGHT!!! Also, did you know that POLTERGEIST rating is technically rated PG? I couldn't believe it, so I did some research and here's what I found: Poltergeist initially received an R rating by 24 reviewers from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) due to the gory bathroom scene. Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper disagreed with the R rating and succeeded in changing it to PG on appeal. Poltergeist was one of the reasons PG13 ratings became a thing. It was July 1, 1984 when MPAA introducted PG13 ratings.
