The 99W DRIVE-IN is kicking off October in great weather with GHOSTBUSTERS 1984. Itโs great to have the return of a true drive in Classic on the big screen and hope thereโs some fandom like there was with The Goonies . ๐ซ๐จItโs easier to lure out an Ecto-1 (Ectomobile) then a โก๏ธDCM-12 DeLorian (heavily modified by Doc.)
RESIDENT EVIL ๐งช๐งโโ๏ธ has a last week the co-feature
๐ Showing-OCT 2-3-4 ๐
๐ซFriday, Saturday & Sunday.
Here is some advice on how ๐๐จ motor in swiftly and efficiently this the opening weekend.๏ฟผ
๐ ๐บ๏ธ DO NOT USE google MAPS!
This will only take you to a closed gate on a busy bypass road. We only open that gate AT intermission and only IF we were FULL that night. Some cars are now being take to an automotive dealership a 1/3 of a mile away. ๐๐๐
The official and ONLY ever 99w Drive in theatre entrance For 73 years has been at the Marquee reader boards on Portland Road which is across from McDonalds and a gas โฝ๏ธ station
Be prepared to enter the drive in with these tips rules and guidelinesโฆ
#1 do not cut
#2 if a line forms it must proceed down Deborah road and can extend down as far as Burgerville ! #3 Always go to the end of this line.
#4 Do not block the entrances of neighboring businesses like ๐๐.
#5 Please do not block the exits of neighboring businesses.
We have only 1๏ธโฃ hour from when the entrance ๐ชgate opens at 6:30 turns to dusk and then is dark for show time.
This gives some time to arrive and park two cars between posts on the field.๐ชง๐๐๐ชง
The days will continue to shorten several minutes weekly to EARLIER DRIVE IN SHOWTIMES ๐๐ฌ๐ฅ ๐๏ธ๐จ
Showtime for GHOSTBUSTERS ๐ป is an earlier every week and is 7:15โ๏ธ
RESIDENT EVIL will start a little after 9pm After an intermission.
The box office will close at 9:30 pm.
September is a good time to go to the DI with earlier start & the usual elements like ๐ฆ, ๐ , โ๏ธ,
and some background chirp by the ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ถ!
We take cards, phones (with your ๐) and the faster entry to the field and to get past box office and onto the field before the sun goes down ๐ to earlier showtimes- hereโs a
Tip.
Cash is quicker for โก๏ธinstant access ๐.
Cards and Phones are ๐ข S-L-O-W ๐ .
Cash or card are equally fine to use for the snack bar.
