In partnership with the Egan Maritime Foundation, we’re honored to present a new edition of Dreamland Conversations. Join us as we revisit the 1999 flight of John F. Kennedy Jr., a tragedy many on Nantucket still remember vividly, and the search that followed, one of the largest ever undertaken for private citizens. One night only. Don’t miss it.

As summer officially turns toward fall tomorrow… we’re carrying all of this good energy forward… and wanted to take a look bACK at the incredible human spirits who helped make the 2026 Nantucket Wellness Festival come alive!

🧡🧘‍♂️🪷🧘‍♀️✨

This past June, 13 extraordinary teachers, instructors, and healthy living guides traveled from near and far to share their gifts with our island community — filling rooms at Ｄｒｅａｍｌａｎｄ with movement, meditation, meaningful conversation, curiosity, laughter, music, wisdom … and so much heart and soul.

From yoga mats to theatre seats, sound healing to manifesting life, big conversations to quiet moments of reflection… every offering was unique, but the intention underneath it was the same:

To help participants create their own personal blueprint for a happier, healthier life.

🧡🧘‍♂️🪷🧘‍♀️✨

To every teacher who said YES to this little island and this big idea — thank you!

And to every sponsor, volunteer, collaborator, local business, friend and community member who believed alongside us: thank you for helping make it all possible!

This was community AND collaboration!

And we are all about creating more spaces to gather, move, learn, listen, connect, and remember that well-being is something we can build together.

BONUS: we’re already dreaming about what comes next…

Few names in American dance carry the weight of Alvin Ailey — a legacy that reshaped modern dance and brought the African American cultural experience to stages around the world.

Ailey II is where that legacy lives next: founded by Alvin Ailey himself in 1974, the company is renowned for merging the spirit and energy of the country’s best early-career dancers with the creative vision of today’s most exciting emerging choreographers, a combination Dance Magazine has called “second to none.”

On Tuesday, September 22, that extraordinary tradition arrives on the Dreamland stage — a rare chance to experience world-class dance of this caliber right here on Nantucket. Performances like this don’t come to the island often, and this one shouldn’t be missed.
