Step into the Roxy Theater in Muskogee, and you're not just entering a venue—you’re becoming part of a legacy that began in 1948. Reborn as a multi-purpose venue, the Roxy is much more than a space for performances; it's a living, breathing testament to the power of entertainment and the community that fuels it. With seating for 300, the theater has witnessed countless stories unfold, from the sil

ver screen’s glow to the electrifying energy of live performances. Today, it continues to be a stage for both local talent and professional touring acts, inviting performers like you to step into the spotlight. Picture this: as you walk inside this moment frozen in time, you feel the echoes of the past—decades of laughter, applause, and shared memories. After over 30 years of silence, the Roxy reopened in August 2001, offering new life to downtown Muskogee and reigniting the cultural heartbeat of the city. Its prime location puts you right at the center of it all, just steps away from the Muskogee Civic Center, Chamber of Commerce, The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, and a host of local businesses and restaurants. For comedians, filmmakers, and performers, the Roxy is more than just a venue—it’s a place where heritage meets creativity. The theater has already captured the imaginations of those hosting local theater productions, dance recitals, variety shows, and awards ceremonies. It’s where Muskogee gives rise to fresh talent, and movie nights bring people together to relive the magic of film. Imagine the thrill of standing where history has been made, knowing that this stage has uplifted generations of performers before this moment. The Roxy is more than a booking—it’s an experience, a chance to be part of something bigger than yourself. Your event here will not only entertain but also contribute to the ongoing revival of downtown Muskogee, breathing life into the city's nightlife and culture. If you’re looking for a venue with heart, history, and a deep sense of community, the Roxy Theater isn’t just a choice—it’s a calling.

Two sets of twins born in the small town of Jupiter Hollow are mixed up by a confused nurse. The parents -- one set poor local farmers, the other wealthy socialites just passing through -- are none the wiser and take the twins home. Now, some 40 years later, the wealthy pair (Bette Midler, Lily Tomlin) are involved in a business deal to buy and close down a factory in Jupiter Hollow. Hearing the news, the other set of twins travels to New York City to try and stop the sale.
