Tickets are on sale now for Lloyd Cole's solo electric show on Sunday, October 11th!

Lloyd Cole takes to the road in 2026 with a run of solo shows in North America. His elegant solo live performances in recent years have been predominantly acoustic, but for these concerts he has decided to go electric. The performance will run the gamut from his masterful debut with Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, Rattlesnakes, right up to 2023's acclaimed On Pain, touching on all points in between.

The Lincoln Theatre is proud to welcome Laura Veirs back to our stage on October 26th! She'll be joined by frequent collaborator and former Anacortes local Karl Blau. Tickets are on sale now -- get them while you still can!

Portland, Oregon-based singer-songwriter Laura Veirs has forged a career singing personal songs of romantic intoxication, everyday vignettes, and social commentary that are often heavy on introspection and intense character scrutiny. She is fascinated with the intersection of poetry and science and explores this in her lyrics.

Karl Blau lived in Anacortes for a quarter-century, where he haunted the record store The Business, recorded albums for Knw-Yr-Own records, and created the Anacortes Music Channel and the Snow Chime music zine. Now residing in Philadelphia, Blau returns to the PNW with Veirs, with whom he shares a lengthy history of tours and collaborations.

Great news: This summer, our Skagit Theatre Campers will be able to perform at the Lincoln! Although we still won't have access to many of our backstage areas as construction continues through October, we will be able to run limited programming out of the theatre starting in August.

We've also added additional spots to our camps, so enrollment is back open for How to Train Your Dragon the Musical JR.

Our Box Office and Admin Office will be open next week and will now be located in The Pop-Up at 325 W Kincaid St! You can catch us there Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 2:00-5:00pm.

Our July events also start next week, with the first film in our Smoke & Mirrors series, Houdini, at White Branches on Tuesday, and our free outdoor showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl on Wednesday.

Magic and movies have gone hand-in-hand for over a century -- the films of yesteryear used stagecraft to create special effects on-screen that startled and baffled the audience. From the tricks of early filmmakers to the visual spectacles of today, cinema remains an art film built on illusion.

Join us at White Branches -- Mount Vernon's magical tearoom -- on Tuesdays in July for three films that blend film and fantasy. Before each film, David Hirata will be performing magic for attendees. David Hirata is a magician known for his imaginative and thoughtful presentational style. As resident magician at White Branches, he creates atmospheric, theatrical illusions in collaboration with his fellow White Branches artists.
