Tom Holland swings back into action this Friday with his fourth solo outing as Peter Parker — and critics are calling it his best yet.

Synopsis:
It's a brand new day for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers him — and grappling with the pain of watching his old friends move on without him — sparks a change in Peter that he may not be able to control. That transformation might be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and the people he loves: a powerful villain no one can even see. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film reunites Peter with a world four years removed from No Way Home, bringing in Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal's Punisher, and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk for the ride.

Critic's Take:
The reviews are in, and they're glowing — the film currently sits at 91% on Rotten Tomatoes from over 150 critics. Consequence's Liz Shannon Miller called it a remarkably coherent, often joyful film that gives the character real growth and grace, while The Wrap's William Bibbiani named it one of the true highlights of the entire franchise. Several critics went even further, drawing comparisons to Sam Raimi's beloved Spider-Man 2 — Comic Book Club's Alexander Zalben called it the most purely Spider-Man movie since that film. Not every review was a rave (a few found it slower-paced than expected), but the consensus is clear: this is one of the strongest entries in the Holland era.

Lucky for you, the Marquis is fully air-conditioned, the drinks are ice-cold, and we have your next two Saturday nights completely booked. We are turning up the AC and extending the party for a two-week summer series: Big Guy’s Bingo is taking over on both Saturday, July 11th and Saturday, July 18th at 7 PM.

We are blasting a sun-drenched playlist of nothing but 80s synth-pop jams, 90s skater anthems, and 2000s boy band hits. It is like the ultimate camp mixtape, but with actual prizes and zero mosquito bites.
