We recognize the issues that plague our city and we are dedicated to transformation. The Heal The Hood Project was birthed for a song entitled, "Heal The Hood." This anthem would soon get weight to a movie project that would bring together over 200 people to see the heart of God reflected in our broken communities. The power of unity would soon command a blessing/ Breck Howard would work with LaDe

ll Beamon in sculpturing this anthem. The Foundation that was birthed from this project is designed to assist other ministries and empower them to touch the lives of youth throughout our city and country. This project will do so in ways that are creative and innovative. God is in complete control of this demonstration of yielded vessels.

Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis has become a national symbol of Hope for Memphis as Founder/CEO, LaDell Beamon and Recording Artist Demi Lowrell make moves to bring forward the mission of redemption through the arts for the city of Memphis.

For almost 20 years, Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis has remained consistent in life transformation through the arts. Demi Lowrell started touring with Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis using her talent to positively reach youth supporting the unwavering message of HTH. Demi became a natural choice to represent HTH as the foundation was selected by Richard Ross, Senior Vice President of NBC Universal to join The Sherri Shepherd Show to move forward with the powerful message of Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis that is often overshadowed and underfunded in the climate of the city that it does so much for.

Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis has worked with names that include Robert Townsend, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Michael Jai White, Gillian White, Master P, Vivica A Fox and many more to bring powerful opportunities and hope to hundreds of thousands of youth.
