Four days and many ways to enjoy Labor Day weekend in Mansfield - Richland County.

Spend Friday strolling downtown or hearing the engines at Mansfield Speedway. Saturday brings endurance racing, live music, family fun and the music of Etta James under the stars at The Brickyard.

On Sunday, catch a charity car show, listen to live music among the blueberry fields or take your adventure onto Charles Mill Lake. Then line the streets Monday morning for Mansfield’s Labor Day Parade and continue the celebration at Richland Carrousel Park.

Mansfield’s Labor Day tradition returns Monday morning!

Gather downtown as the 2026 Labor Day Parade steps off at 10 AM from the Five-Way Light at Park Avenue West and Marion Avenue.

After the parade, follow the celebration to Richland Carrousel Park for free carrousel rides, food and drinks.

Sponsored by local area unions, it’s a morning to honor the working people who keep our community moving, enjoy a hometown tradition and celebrate Labor Day together.

Labor Day weekend is getting a soundtrack at The Blueberry Patch! 🎶🫐

The first Jammin in the Patch brings two days, eight bands and plenty of food, local w**e and cold drinks to 1285 W**ery.

Saturday’s lineup includes Taylor Schlupp Music, Nate Williams Band, Oolong Gurus and SWAGG. Come back Sunday for Steve and Sam, R2D2, Lovehook and Van Waylon.

Bring a chair, find your spot near the stage and settle in for a weekend of live music surrounded by the rolling views of The Blueberry Patch.

The voice. The music. And the story behind it all. 🎶

This Saturday, At Last: An Evening with Etta James comes to The Brickyard for a special outdoor performance in the heart of downtown Mansfield.

Starring Condrea “CONNE” Mason, this original Renaissance Theatre production tells the tumultuous life story of Etta James through the music she made famous, blending live performance, storytelling and the unmistakable sound of one of music’s most legendary voices.

Written and directed by Michael Thomas, with musical direction by Alice Bond, C***e is joined by the C***e Band for an evening that goes beyond a traditional concert.

And The Brickyard gives the whole production a setting of its own: an open-air downtown stage, surrounded by the energy of Mansfield’s central gathering place.

That’s all happening this September in Mansfield & Richland County.

Racing returns to Mansfield Speedway, Manifest brings art downtown, Final Friday closes out the summer concert season, Ohio Heritage Days fills Malabar Farm with history, Prairie Peddler welcomes fall in the countryside, and Blood Prison takes over the Historic Ohio State Reformatory.

Thirty-five years, 52 hand-carved figures and five million rides later, a Mansfield favorite is still spinning memories!

Join Richland Carrousel Park TODAY as it celebrates its 35th anniversary with rides, games, prizes and a full afternoon of fun. The celebration includes the first ConeyFest & Biergarten, coney tasting, hot dog-eating contests and live entertainment by Jimi Vincent & Friends from 11 AM–1:30 PM.

Take a spin on one of the colorful horses 🎠 or choose a tiger, giraffe, rabbit, ostrich or even the mythical hippocampus. All 52 figures were designed, carved and painted right here in Mansfield.

The celebration also marks 35 years of the Richland Academy of the Arts and 90 years of the Coney Island Diner.
