The first Sunday of every other month, brunch will be hosted at the Enzian where we will enjoy the most pleasant of weekend social activities...

We then juxtapose that with the most unpleasant social activity... watching an academically important but ridiculously uncomfortable art film that every film lover SHOULD watch, just doesn't necessarily WANT to watch with a group.
