The Mahwah Recreation Committee hosts many events during the course of the year.

The Mahwah Recreation Department is a dedicated team of community volunteers who work closely with the Recreation Director to plan, coordinate, and bring engaging programs and events to life for the Mahwah community. Our annual, Meet The Bunny, Halloween Parade, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Paddle Days, Movie Nights and Mahwah Day draw large crowds every year. The committee also organizes our adult sof

Get into the holiday spirit a little early and join us for a fun evening creating your own beautiful resin Christmas coasters! 🎁❄️

Create a unique set of festive resin coasters that will be perfect for your holiday décor or make a wonderful handmade gift! 🎅❤️

Please Note: Resin coasters require approximately 72 hours to fully cure. Finished projects will be available for pickup at Mahwah Town Hall the following week.

🎬🍿 Stay late and enjoy our feature movie, Home Alone! After the workshop, relax by the pool and continue the Christmas in July fun with this holiday classic under the stars.

Planning is already well underway for Mahwah Day 2026, happening on Saturday, October 3, 2026! 🍂🎪

Events like this don’t happen overnight—they take months of planning, coordination, and an incredible team working behind the scenes. 💪 Today our amazing Recreation Department was out cleaning up and removing all of our old event signage… because it’s time for a fresh new look! ✨

We can’t wait to bring another incredible Mahwah Day to our community with great food, vendors, entertainment, activities, and so much more.

Join Mahwah Recreation for a fun-filled evening in the park as we feature Cars!

🇺🇸 We were so excited to present Danny Anghel with the Grand Prize for Mahwah Township’s America 250 House Decorating Contest!

Danny and his family received a commemorative certificate along with a $250 gift card, generously donated by our friends at Mt. Fuji, in recognition of their outstanding patriotic display.
