4/29/2012: Users Alias Must be Unique

Previously users could create an Alias display name with no restrictions and while we fully recognize some users don't want to have their real name displayed we also need to ensure there aren't any duplicate display names. With that considered, users are still free to choose an Alias display name but that name has to be unique. In other words, we don't want twenty users with the exact same display name.

Just added a new feature to http://www.jealousbrother.com A loophole in the rivalry comment voting system was allowing the manipulation of rivalry comment votes. The new system should make for a more realistic and accurate representation of what the JealousBrother community thinks about each and every comment.

As with anything the calculations will be monitored and changed if necessary.

Latest Status: We're back online!

The latest status is that power could be restored around 6:15pm to 7:00pm eastern standard time. While we are very aggravated about the outage we are at least encouraged with the communication from the provider. Thanks for your continued patience.

Outage Alert! We are currently dealing with a host outage. The company who we use to host JealousBrother is experiencing some kind of power outage and we are eagerly awaiting news or more specifically our server returning online. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep users posted via our Facebook wall as any details change.

We recently changed hosts to avoid outages like the one we're currently experiencing but unfortunately the new host is forcing us to deal with similar issues.

"My Rivalries" tab and feature has been added to the site: When logged in, users now have a page that features the rivalries they've joined. The rivalries joined will also be removed from view on the main page making it easier to browse through rivalries users haven't seen. Enjoy and feel free to provide feedback.
