Vee Williams Entertainment Williams’s early introduction to entertainment would lead her to start her own company in 1987, Vee Williams Entertainment.

CEO, Veda Williams' musical interest began while attending Oakwood College and singing in the group “Symbolic Sounds” with members of the group now known as Take 6, under the leadership of composer, writer, producers, vocalist Mervyn Warren. Vee Williams Entertainment has worked with some of the largest and most successful major business advertisers where VWE has provided producers, arrangers, and

singers for some of the most successful themes in marketing such as “Always Coca Cola” “Enjoy” and “Just for the Taste of It.” Vee Williams Entertainment has worked with such entertainment icons as Barry White, Isaac Hayes, Aaron Hall, Bill Duke and Eddie Murphy and has produced shows from Hollywood to Japan. Williams also consulted with various independent record labels as Director of A & R for their West Coast Division, as well as the West Coast Division for Magnum Entertainment Group’s commercial jingle division.

What an emotional and unforgettable day celebrating 83 years of greatness with Bill Duke.

We honored not only his birthday, but his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame — so well deserved for a man who has lived his life on purpose.

Bill welcomed me into the Duke Media Foundation family, mentored my son and daughter, and featured my daughter De’jia and me in his book Dark Girls. I owe him more than words can express. He has been a covering in our lives, he is a beautiful soul.

Happy 83rd Birthday, Bill. Your star has always shined — now the world gets to see it in stone. ✨
