Need them to come back for the new movie () đŸ€– Fun fact: In ‘Transformers,’ Shia LaBeouf told a reporter that his chemistry with Megan Fox wasn’t manufactured for the cameras. He said they spent six months on set together “rooting to be attracted to each other,” and described their time together as “our own thing” that came through naturally on screen. ‘Transformers’ (2007) is available to stream on Paramount+. Katy Perry in the late 2000s early 2010s was top tier đŸ”„ () Between 2008 and 2013, Katy Perry put together one of the most dominant commercial runs in pop music history, and the numbers still hold up today. It started with ‘One of the Boys’ in 2008, which gave the world ‘I Kissed a Girl’ and ‘Hot n Cold,’ two songs that were simply inescapable on radio for the better part of two years. Then came ‘Teenage Dream’ in 2010, which did something no woman had ever done before and only Michael Jackson had done with ‘Thriller’ — produce five number one singles from a single album, with ‘California Gurls,’ ‘Teenage Dream,’ ‘Firework,’ ‘E.T.,’ and ‘Last Friday Night’ all hitting the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed it with ‘Prism’ in 2013, which opened with ‘Roar’ and kept the run going, ultimately earning her a spot in RIAA history as one of only five artists ever to surpass 100 million certified songs. Fun fact: In ‘Shameless,’ Jeremy Allen White originally auditioned for the role of Ian Gallagher and has said he “really chased” that part. He was genuinely disappointed when he found out he didn’t get it. Cameron Monaghan knows about this, and White has since joked that it’s probably a good thing it worked out the way it did. Without playing Lip for eleven seasons, he may never have built the emotional range that eventually landed him the lead role of Carmy in ‘The Bear.’ ‘Shameless’ (2011–2021) is available to stream on Peacock. đŸ» Fun fact: In ‘Masha and the Bear,’ the character of Masha was based on a real child that creator Oleg Kuzovkov encountered on a beach holiday in the 1990s. The little girl was so fearlessly social she would walk up to total strangers and challenge them to chess or take their flippers and go swimming. Within a few days the entire beach had started hiding from her. That real child’s energy was so specific and so vivid that Kuzovkov never forgot it, and when he finally pitched the show over a decade later, she was still the exact character he built Masha around. ‘Masha and the Bear’ (2009–present) is available to stream on Netflix and YouTube. 💃 Fun fact: In ‘White Chicks,’ the iconic shirtless robot dance where Latrell whistles while moving across the room was completely unplanned. Terry Crews improvised it entirely on the spot after director Keenen Ivory Wayans simply pointed at him and said “go.” The whistling was also Crews’ own spontaneous addition, not in the script at all. Crews has said the whole scene was done in one take, and despite it being one of the most recognized comedy moments of the 2000s, he walked off set that day with no idea it would become as iconic as it did. ‘White Chicks’ (2004) is available to stream on Netflix. 😂 () đŸ© Fun fact: In ‘The Simpsons,’ the entire visual style was created in a panicked waiting room. He sketched out a dysfunctional family from scratch while sitting in the waiting room, naming them after his own family members. The yellow skin was also a deliberate choice: Groening wanted the family to be instantly recognizable to anyone who stopped on the channel while flipping, because a flesh-colored animated family could be mistaken for anything. ‘The Simpsons’ (1989–present) is available to stream on Disney+. 😂 () ⚟ Fun fact: In ‘Eastbound & Down,’ Steve Little based Stevie Janowski’s mannerisms and emotional reactions on real people he went to high school with, carrying specific memories of those individuals into every scene he filmed. Almost none of Stevie’s dialogue was scripted. The writers encouraged Danny McBride and Little to improvise heavily together, and their off-screen chemistry made the dynamic feel completely natural. Little also revealed that when he first arrived on set, he hadn’t met McBride or any of the showrunners beforehand, but described the whole atmosphere as immediately “very welcoming” — which is a funny contrast to how brutally Kenny Powers treats Stevie on camera. ‘Eastbound & Down’ (2009–2013) is available to stream on Max. Me every day of ever year 😭 () I will sneeze 47 times in a row and still not feel any relief. My body is doing nothing and solving nothing. Everyone around me has already said “bless you” twice and now we’re all just awkwardly waiting to see if it’s over. The worst part is I can feel another one coming and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. -

😂 🩎 Fun fact: In ‘Tangled,’ Pascal the chameleon was based on a real pet chameleon owned by a Disney animation artist named Kelly Lewis, who had named her chameleon Pascal at home. When the directors discovered the name, they loved it so much they asked Lewis for permission to use it for the film’s character. Pascal’s ability to change colors was also used by the animators as a storytelling tool rather than just a visual gimmick, with his color shifts designed to reflect his emotions in every scene so he could communicate with audiences without ever making a single sound. ‘Tangled’ (2010) is available to stream on Disney+. 🍿 Fun fact: In ‘Modern Family,’ Cam Tucker’s beloved alter ego Fizbo the Clown was lifted directly from Eric Stonestreet’s real childhood. He created the Auguste clown character himself at age 11 and performed as Fizbo at birthday parties growing up in Kansas. When the writers discovered this about Stonestreet, they built the whole Fizbo storyline around it and let him do his own clown makeup for every episode the character appeared in. He refused to let anyone else touch it. Stonestreet also had to audition for the role of Cam twice before being cast, and later said he knew from his very first read that whoever landed the part would have “a really great opportunity to make a really lasting impact on television.” ‘Modern Family’ (2009–2020) is available to stream on Hulu. Introverted me paying for extroverted me’s choices đŸ˜© 🎬 Fun fact: In ‘Another Round,’ director Thomas Vinterberg originally pitched the entire concept to Mads Mikkelsen using a single YouTube video called “Two Men and a Lock” — showing two extremely intoxicated men trying to lock up a bicycle. Mikkelsen committed to the film immediately, and to prepare, the entire cast spent a week in what the Los Angeles Times called “booze camps” — filming themselves in a pub and analyzing their own body language at varying levels of intoxication. Mikkelsen also had to essentially start over as a dancer for the film’s final scene, discovering after 30 years away from it that dance had completely changed since his days as a professional gymnast and ballet performer. ‘Another Round’ (2020) is available to stream on Prime Video.
