Stop by either store to get your Where’s Waldo Passport for each respective city to join in the fun!

On August 3rd from 10am-11am we will be having our grand Waldo celebration and prize drawing at our Pleasanton location. Our Livermore celebration and prize drawing will be on August 4th from 10am-11am. Everyone is welcome and there will be plenty of prizes to go around!

Stitch & Revel

Join us for a fun kickoff night for the Downtown Tree Sweater Event! Bring your project, get your tree sweater started, or simply enjoy an evening of stitching with fellow tree sweater makers.

Trees are still available, so come choose yours, fill out your forms, get inspired by past designs, and connect with fellow participants, past and present.

We’ll have tips, ideas, time for questions, and plenty of creative inspiration to get you started.

Plus! Stitch and Revel will be hosting a raffle for participants who attend, with prizes that include yarn, notions, and tools.

“Allow us to introduce ourselves—meet your new owners, Andrea and Rob, of Backstage Bar Livermore, formerly known as R-Place on Old First Street. We are incredibly excited to begin this new chapter in our lives and become part of the wonderful Livermore community.

Combined, we have over 38 years of experience in the restaurant, bar, and nightlife industry. Throughout our careers, we’ve had the opportunity to work all over the Bay Area, with the last eight years spent in Walnut Creek at two of the area’s most popular establishments. We have worked hard to reach this milestone, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to create a place we can call our own.

Our goal is to build something special—a welcoming space where the community can gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. We’ll be spending a lot of our time here, and we look forward to getting to know all of the amazing people who make Livermore such a special place.

Livermore just celebrated 150 years of incorporation, and like the rest of the Tri-Valley area, it is booming. Young families are moving in, and so are the food businesses: Meadowlark Dairy, one of the Bay Area’s best soft-serve purveyors, debuted its second location earlier this year there, on Second Street. New locations of the Breakfast Club chain of restaurants, Zachary’s Chicago Pizza, and Slice House by Tony Gemignani — all Northern California-based — also recently arrived on First Street.

That’s not all. At the entrance to downtown, where Railroad and Livermore avenues meet, an expansion of historic Blacksmith Square is set to bring another 13,200 square feet of new retail and restaurant space, including Doppio Zero and homegrown Story Coffee.

Livermore is much more than its lab and rodeo. The time to visit is now.
