What a beautiful evening celebrating the opening reception of The Great Elephant Migration! We are so excited to welcome this extraordinary art installation to Downtown Livermore and grateful to everyone who helped make this evening so special.

Join us tomorrow Saturday, October 10, starting at 10 AM for the official community opening celebrations at Stockmen’s Park! Festivities will continue throughout the day, offering plenty of opportunities to experience these incredible life-sized elephant sculptures.

The Great Elephant Migration will be on display at Bankhead Plaza and Stockmen’s Park through December 6, bringing art, awareness, and a truly unique experience to our downtown community.

We hope to see you there!

Cheers to 22 Wonderful Years, Zephyr!

After 22 incredible years in Livermore Downtown, we raise a glass to Zephyr Grill & Bar and to Lynn and Randy Tei for the memories, milestones, and moments they’ve shared with our community.

For more than two decades, Zephyr has been a place where birthdays were celebrated, anniversaries toasted, families gathered, friendships grew, and countless special occasions were made even more memorable. It became much more than a restaurant—it became part of the fabric of Livermore Downtown.

We are grateful for the dedication, heart, and hospitality that Lynn and Randy have brought to our downtown for 22 years. Their commitment to creating a welcoming place for the community has left a lasting mark.

Congratulations, Lynn and Randy, on an incredible 22-year run! While we’re sad (as I write this with tears in my eyes) to see Zephyr close its doors, we celebrate all you have accomplished and the countless memories you’ve helped create along the way.

We wish you both the very best in your next chapter and thank you for being such an important part of Livermore Downtown.

🐘The Elephants in Downtown Livermore have arrived!

Head downtown this Saturday, October 10th at 10am to welcome The Great Elephant Migration: A Family Gathering and a day full of activities!

For the next two months (Oct 10 – Dec 6), 30 life-size, handcrafted elephants made by Indigenous artisans via The Real Elephant Collective will grace Bankhead Plaza and Stockmen’s Park. This intimate herd brings the same joy, magic and purpose to smaller communities, gardens and cultural spaces. It carries the heart of the flagship exhibition, but in a smaller, nimbler format, allowing these wonderful elephants to wander into places where the full herd simply can’t.

SATURDAY, OCT 10TH SCHEDULE:

 ✨ 10:00 AM | Welcome & Blessing of the Elephants 
Stockmen’s Park 
Ceremonial blessing of the herd, a cultural dance performance by Vishwa Shanthi Dance, and custom artwork textiles by IAAA (Indian American Artists Association)

 🎨 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Livermore ArtWalk
First Street between Maple & S. Livermore Ave, hosted by Visual Arts LVA & The Bankhead Theater LVA
Featuring 200+ artists and the brand-new CHALK the WALK festival in front of the Bankhead Theater

Stockmen’s Park, hosted by IVA Events US
Celebrate Navratri with traditional music and dance - this year, right among the elephants!

Join us Saturday, October 24 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. for a morning packed with trick-or-treating throughout Livermore Downtown, live music, games, activities and Halloween fun for kids 5th grade and under!

📍 LOCATION REMINDER: This year, activity booths and the Costume Contest will be at Carnegie Park, 2155 Third Street, while the Elephant Migration Art Exhibit is on display at Stockmen’s Park and Bankhead Plaza. 🐘✨

🏆 COSTUME CONTEST | 11 A.M.–1 P.M.
Show off your creativity at Carnegie Park! The contest is free to enter, with family, group and individual categories. Costumes should be at least 70% handmade, with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. 👻🎃

A dark and romantic enchanted garden filled with deep plum florals, butterflies, feathers, tulle, a tiny pumpkin, and a touch of tarot magic.
