GoFundMe: Help Alieu Get His First ID Card ($100 goal)
Dear friends, I’ve launched a small fundraiser to help a young man in The Gambia named Alieu. He’s raising his siblings after losing both parents—and without a national ID card, he can’t receive support, apply for work, or open a bank account in his own name.
The goal is just $100—enough to help him walk in his own name with dignity.
What began as a quiet online exchange has become a heartfelt connection across distance. Alieu is patient, kind, and full of quiet faith. He works odd jobs and cares for his brothers, but life is hard without documentation or steady income.
This is my first GoFundMe campaign. If it touches your heart, please consider sharing this post or offering a small donation.
Right now, he’s unable to receive support or apply for work because he doesn’t have a national ID card. This simple document has become a kind of doorway.
This small fundraiser is to help him take this first step. The goal is just $100—enough to help him walk in his own name. I will monitor his progress and that of his siblings.
If this speaks to you, I’d be grateful if you’d visit or share the link below. 🙏
Even a few hearts opening toward this offering would be a blessing.
With love and quiet hope,
Richard 🙏🕊️🙏
