The Soper-Reese is a project of the Lake County Arts Council. The Mission of the theatre is to provide a professional venue for the performing arts and community events in Lake County, California. To achieve this Mission, the Goals of the theatre are:
To enhance the cultural enjoyment of all members of the community
To promote tourism and the economic vitality of Lakeport and all of Lake County by

attracting diverse artistic and cultural events from around the state and nation
To provide more opportunities for Lake County students to experience and appreciate the performing arts
To preserve a local and beloved landmark

The 2026 Mother’s Day Pops Concert is celebrating our Nation’s 250th year. They will be featuring music by The “March King”, John Philip Sousa and American composers Leroy Anderson, Irving Berlin, and Samual Ward.

There will be an opening performance by the Lake County Adult and Youth Concert Orchestra directed by Camm Linden.

Dear community,
we regret to announce that the Cine en Familia series will not continue as planned. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must take a pause. We deeply value the connections we’ve built through these films and will be exploring future ways to celebrate storytelling together. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
