Thanks for your ongoing support. The outdoor theater is coming up on 80 years in McHenry! We offer double features, 7 nights a week during the spring and summer. Scott Dehn is the current owner and has been operating the theater for 25 years. We go from March-December showing throwbacks in the late summer, fall, and even holiday movies too. The comb is easy. But a few of these have me wondering. Spaceballs will follow Mandalorian and Grogu through 6/4 here at the ! We are doing the interactive version where you use these props during the showing. Get it at concessions for $5 with the purchase of a large popcorn. While supplies last.

Project Popcorn kicked off tonight with Rotary Club of Lake in the Hills Ribfest, Animal Outreach Humane Society, and McHenry Jr. Warrior Basketball! $5 of each car they brought in goes to them.

PROJECT POPCORN! Wednesday's nights all season we're showcasing not-for-profit organizations from the area. Mention one of them at box office when you arrive and you'll get carload pricing ($15 to get in) and $5 of it will go to their cause. Tonight is Rotary Club of Lake in the Hills ahead of ribfest, McHenry Jr Warriors basketball , and Animal Outreach Humane Society!

We also will have a 50-50 split the pot raffle happening through August 5th with United Way of Greater McHenry County.

One of our favorite traditions at the McHenry Outdoor is playing the National Anthem before every movie. This Memorial Day weekend, we were honored to have local talent ,Abigail Grace, from Huntley perform for us.

As we enjoy time with family and friends, we also remember and honor those who made that freedom possible.
