A friendly reminder the Kingman Historic Theatre will be closed Labor Day Weekend.
There are limited playable movies and we want to open Practical Magic 2 on September 11-13.
The theatre is entering our busiest time of year and we are excited to let our staff and volunteers have a weekend off!!!

September 19th, the Kingman Historic Theatre will be having our Concert For A Cause Event with Thompson Square, Conner Haynie, and The Fairchilds.
The concert is to raise awareness for mental health and su***de prevention.
This year, organizers have thought very hard about how to utilize the funds raised and what would be the greatest impact for our community.
We had input from several in our community including a mental health professional, first responders, parents, and several others who have been impacted by this crisis.
It has been decided, funds will be used over the course of the next year to purchase movie rights to several movies specifically for students and our first responders. These movie rights range from $400-$750 per showing and will be free to attend to schools, first responders, and our community members.
We also hope to provide Mental Health Kits for our first responders to promote personal wellness for their own stress relief and sensory-friendly rescue bags for their vehicles to help community members in crisis.
Elimination of the crisis is the goal, but helping someone through it and become healthy is just as important!
