The Keene State College Film Society is a student organization that aims to provide the school and the community with an entertaining, educational, and culturally relevant cinematic experience. For over twenty years, the Film Society, operating out of the Putnam Arts Lecture Hall, in the Redfern Arts Center, has been playing both contemporary and classic, as well as Hollywood and Arthouse films. T

he theater is fully equipped to screen 35mm prints, as well as 16mm and 70mm prints for special events. Members of the Film Society - which is open to anyone - can learn how to project film, and operate the theater when films are screened. Films are screened year-round, and play on both week days, and weekends. The Film Society meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM in the Putnam Theater.
