Get ready Transylvanians -- It's time for The Rocky Horror 2026 Tour with LIVE Shadowcast Flustered Mustard!

Join Flustered Mustard as they Time Warp across the Midwest with The Rocky Horror Picture Show. We'll be hosting shows at (in order) The Lincoln Theatre, The Contrarian Concert Hall & Theater , Marvel Theatre of Carlinville, Taylorville Cinema , Senate Theatre, Eisentraut Theatres Orpheum & Grand Theatres of Hillsboro , The Fabulous Fox , Historic Tivoli Theatre, Illinois Theater of Jacksonville, Cinema St. Louis’ Hi-Pointe Theatre , City Museum, St Louis, MO Rooftop, Miner's Theatre , East Central College, and rattermantheatres as the final stop. Eight weeks, fifteen venues, and sixteen shows!

Eager to do The Time Warp again? Great! We can't wait to have you! Never seen it? Throw on your mother's high heels and fishnets, 'cause you're in for a treat!

The longest-running midnight movie of all time stars Tim Curry as the kinky yet endearing “transsexual from Transylvania” Dr. Frank N. Furter, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as his hapless guests Brad and Janet, Meat Loaf as motorcycle-riding rough trade Eddie and author Richard O’Brien as the hunchbacked butler Riff Raff. It’s harmless musical fun—a delightful spoof of Hollywood horror movies and Old Dark House melodramas. Become a part of the movie by shouting out lines with the cast as well as throwing props to mock the action on screen. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the first—and is still the best—interactive movie experience!

Batman Day is Sep 19th, and that whole week we'll be playing the original 1989 Batman and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm!

We are proud to announce the start of Sensory Friendly Showings beginning this Saturday. Our Sensory Friendly Showings are designed to make the movies more comfortable and welcoming for guests with autism, sensory sensitivities, and other disabilities — while remaining open to everyone. During these showings, the auditorium lights remain partially on and the movie volume is lowered. Guests are welcome to stand, move around, talk, sing along, or simply enjoy the movie in whatever way is most comfortable for them. There is no expectation to sit still or stay quiet. Jacksonville has a long and proud history of supporting people with disabilities and different needs, and we're proud to continue that spirit at the Illinois Theatre. As an autistic-owned theatre, inclusion is especially important to us. We want this to be a place where everyone can enjoy going to the movies — and where being yourself is always welcome.
