Our gift card program for Foster Care Appreciation Month has reached its end and now it's time to distribute the cards. And my DCFS contact, and gift card distributor, Carol Sheley just happened to come in tonight with her family to watch The Breadwinner, so I got to surprise her on the way out with presenting her $5,000 in gift cards to distribute to local foster kids. Thank you so much to everyone who purchased these cards and helped make a difference with the program.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu opens Friday. Come dressed up, bring your lightsabers, let's make this a movie premiere to remember!

Tuesday, May 26th at 10 am we will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, to commemorate the beginning of this new era for the Illinois Theater, on the first day of summer vacation 🤩🍿🌞

Summer break is almost here, and our Free Summer Kids Movies series is about to start! We have now confirmed 6 weeks worth of the movies and will announce those and get them on the website within the next couple days.
We are still looking for anyone, businesses, groups, or even individuals, who would like to sponsor any of the remaining weeks. If you're interested, please email [email protected]

First and most important, today starting in just under an hour is the Rotting World Double Feature event to support the upcoming filming of Holler - Film. Meet and greet with the cast and crew at 4:00, movies start at 4:45.

Updates on my crashed server issues:
Most of it is back, you can email me again now, website is there but still ugly, please don't try purchasing tickets online just yet.

Showtimes are back online! Most of them anyway. I'm still adding more, especially the upcoming stuff.

Our snack stash loyalty program is still going to exist, but I do have to start over re-entering customers. So bring in your loyalty card and we will enter you again and stick a new code on it.

This Friday Star Wars, the Mandalorian and Grogu releases! Come dressed up, bring your lightsabers, we'll get a big group photo beforehand! Ryne Turke is helping us make this a memorable night.
