Next, color washes to begin greens. I like the horse on the left. The one on the right needs work. I still havent touched the horses with oil paints yet. The background will take much work before I tackle the horses. Then comes the hard part.

This is one I settled on. I cropped and moved stuff around till the composition worked. Next is an acrylic underpainting...
